Formando parte de las fiestas de Can Roca,  Can Roca Runs está organizando una carrera solidaria (es su II edición) que incluirá una carrera infantil, una popular de 5KM y una especial de 10KM.

Lugar : Castelldefels (Barcelona)

Los ingresos procedentes de las inscripciones se destinaran íntegramente a Proyectos relacionados con la Associació Catalana per al Parkinson y, en la medida de lo posible, para la mejora de la calidad de vida de los afectados y familiares de Castelldefels.

El sábado día 17 de junio a las 11 horas se celebrará el acto de promoción y lanzamiento de este evento en el Centro Comercial Ànec Blau, en Castelldefels (Barcelona) y el domingo 18 por la mañana se podrán tramitar las inscripciones en dicho Centro ( abre al público todos los domingos del año).

Castelldefels se moverá y vibrará por y para el Parkinson !!!

Estoy convencido de que será un éxito, aunque para mi y seguro que para muchas personas más, el éxito ya se ha alcanzado por el mero hecho de que se organice un evento solidario para apoyar a los afectados por esta devastadora enfermedad.

Una de las opciones o proyectos aún pendientes de aprobar incluye el análisis de la viabilidad de crear una asociación para los enfermos de Parkinson que vivan en el municipio de Castelldefels o en localidades colindantes.  Una opción lógica es que si prospera ese análisis de viabilidad, la asociación de Castelldefels se articule como una delegación más de la Asociación Catalana de Parkinson.  En próximos posts os explicaré la evolución de estas ideas. Para empezar, tendré que intentar construir una estimación del número de enfermos que residen en Castelldefels o en municipios colindantes….creo que el proyecto o idea merece mucho la pena, no ???

It is just around the corner…..

As part of the Can Roca festivities, Can Roca Runs is organizing a solidarity race (it’s its second edition) which will include a children’s race, a popular 5KM race and a special 10KM race.

Date: Sunday, July 2nd, 2017

Place: Castelldefels (Barcelona)

The income from the inscriptions will go entirely to a projects related to the Catalan Association for Parkinson, for the improvement of the quality of life of the affected and relatives of Castelldefels.

On Saturday, June 17 at 11 am, the event to promote and launch this event will be held at the Ànec Blau Shopping Center in Castelldefels (Barcelona) and on Sunday, 18 in the morning, registration will be possible at the Center (it opens every Sunday of the year).

I am convinced that it will be a success, although for me and for sure many more people, success has already been achieved by the mere fact that a solidarity event is organized to support those affected by this devastating disease.

One of the options or projects still to be approved includes the analysis of the feasibility of creating an association for Parkinson’s patients living in the municipality of Castelldefels or in neighboring towns. One logical option is that if this feasibility analysis prospers, the Castelldefels association is articulated as one more delegation of the Catalan Parkinson Association. To begin with, I will have to try to construct an estimate of the number of patients residing in Castelldefels or neighboring municipalities …. I think the project or idea is worth a lot, no ???
